Acidradio originated as a project band early 1995 in Tacloban city, Leyte, Phils. Initiated by Chip Canonigo during high school days and relocated to Manila. Restarted as a three-piece band, and in early 2007, the band re-emerged with new plans, new songs and a new guitarist. The new line-up of Acidradio started to perform again more often than before.
