Battle City started as a semi-acoustic duo (Angelo and Jason) playing troubadour pop songs intended for drinking sessions. Noticing that the songs were taking a life of its own, they recruited Jason’s brother Al to play bass and decided to make it an “official” band. Their patchwork sound ranges from tuneful pop sensible songs to haunting compositions that have a penchant for moody atmosphere.
