iktus started as a high school band.. like any other bands, iktus is also joining in some battle of the bands here in laguna .. until they decided to join a national battle of the bands.. the Globe kantabataan.. The band won in that competition.. after winning, the band decided to take their music seriously. Before, they are playing different sound but now the band has one sound and identity. the band has already their own EP with 5 cuts which are their own compositions..
