Jae is the Founder and Director of Music Garage@Bugis Music School. Formerly from the SAF Music and Drama company Male Vocal Ensemble, where he took part in various major events including NDP Celebrations for 2004 and 2005.

After completing his Natinal Service, Jae took part in Local Channel U TV Program with local band G-force. They made it to the top 14 of the competition. Jae also competed and won various competitions with other boy group, Streetboyz.
