The Rebel Scum was formed in 2000 with the aim of pushing no-holds-barred uncompromising hip hop music into the regional consciousness. Its 5 members - Mic Wrecka, Illson, hqa, WordsManifest and Cliq - come from different backgrounds in hip hop culture's wide range of influences, but are united in their desire to rock the mic, dust off the mic and having a good time doing it. They've released an EP in 2005 and have performed around the South East Asian region. Their new album is due out in 2008.
