In Memory Of was conceived in 2005 shortly after the death of a bandmate and comrade in music, a tribute to the late Eric Canlas a guitarist of a local band Orange Juice who untimely died of a congenital heart ailment. His death inspired the creation of the band, and every show played is dedicated to his memory. The members had been jamming together before and come from different bands, having been with the Bacolod/Iloilo City music scene for more than a decade.
